Job summary

Sovereign Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior React Developer to participate in the full software development lifecycle for client projects. You will work with solution architects and leads, develop using React, NodeJS, ExpressJS and MongoDB, and build scalable microservices with modern tooling.

Responsibilities include design, documentation, unit testing, API development, and integration work. Strong debugging, communication, and agile experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of application development experience.
• At least 2 years of develop ment using React, NodeJS, ExpressJS, MongoDB and micro services.
• Good understanding of micro services architecture.
• Experience using GitLab, Jenkins, PM2 and similar tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience developing web-based user interfaces for business applications.
• Experience with RESTful services and integrating web services (SOAP/REST).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills; able to work with logs and error messages.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex React/NodeJS applications with MongoDB.
• Document systems, perform unit tests, code reviews and maintenance.
• Ensure IT controls to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Write code for complex designs and RESTful APIs spanning platforms.
• Develop micro services and collaborate with solution architects and leads.
• Coordinate integration approaches and review code of peers.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications and estimate effort with the team.
• Support deployment and transition of applications through the life cycle.
