Job summary

Armillary is seeking a backend engineer to own the Rails-based stack, design scalable architectures, and guide infrastructure decisions. You will collaborate with product, design, and data science teams to deliver robust APIs and services.

You will ship code with CI/CD, contribute to DevOps practices, and work across cloud deployments to ensure reliable production systems. This role emphasizes performance, reliability, and modern testing strategies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience building web apps with Ruby on Rails.
• 4+ years designing distributed, scalable architectures.
• Deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with cloud deployment (GCP/AWS/Azure/ Alicloud).
• DevOps experience shipping to production with CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Postgres and web sockets.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.

Requirements
