About the Role:

Enova has its roots as a Rails shop and continues to rely heavily on Ruby on Rails. As a (Senior) Rails developer, you will work on both legacy and modern applications, contributing to making our systems more scalable and resilient. You will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, advocate for high-quality code, and remove obstacles. At the Senior Software Engineer level, you will also support your team through mentorship and knowledge sharing.

We will consider both Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer candidates for this opportunity.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of full-stack development experience in Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with Golang, Postgres, Kafka, Terraform, or AWS toolkit is a plus.
• Strong support and troubleshooting skills in production environments, with familiarity with observability tools like Splunk or Datadog.
• Experience with Agile development cycles and high deployment velocity.
• Ability to collaborate with product managers to plan and scope products iteratively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Compensation:

The role offers various levels within our career ladder. The actual salary will depend on qualifications, skills, and experience, and may fall outside the listed ranges.
