Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking a Senior Solutions Systems Engineer to define and advance integrated railroad technology solutions across Digital Intelligence portfolios. You will lead enterprise-level solution architectures and technology roadmaps, guiding cross-functional teams through complex programs and governance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline required; Master's degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering, solution architecture, integration engineering, or complex technology development environments.
• Experience leading architecture and systems engineering for large-scale, multi-product solutions.
• Strong understanding of software, hardware, communications, cloud, infrastructure, and OT integration.
• Advanced experience with requirements management and traceability tools such as IBM DOORS, DOORS Next Generation, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise-level solution architectures supporting multiple customer programs and product platforms.
• Lead development and maintenance of solution technology roadmaps and multi-generational technology plans.
• Establish solution-level requirements, interface strategies, architecture standards, and engineering governance processes.
• Serve as the principal systems engineering advisor for complex customer opportunities, proposals, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead technical evaluation of customer requirements, RFIs, and RFPs and guide development of solution strategies.
