Job summary

Kraemer North America seeks an experienced Project Manager for a multi-year rail project in Brunswick, MO, with the home office in Eau Claire, WI. The PM oversees contract administration, planning, cost control, and overall project leadership to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.

Responsibilities include leading the Five Point Planning Process, coordinating with owners and subcontractors, and maintaining Kraemer’s safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum five years’ experience in heavy civil construction.
• Railroad and bridge experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in budget management.

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute project planning and Five Point Planning Process.
• Provide leadership and promote Kraemer’s safety culture in day-to-day operations and TEAM meetings.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, subcontractors, and material suppliers.
• Manage project correspondence with owners, subs, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project payables and payment requests.
• Prepare, review, approve and certify all project change proposals and/or claims.
• Assist with estimating projects and prepare monthly CTC reports.
• Mentor and develop project staff and ensure achievement of safety and quality goals.
