Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of leadership experience in mechanical field; railroad experience preferred.
• Budgeting, financial statement literacy, and ability to perform complex math.
• Experience with transportation operations, process improvement, and industry procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent leadership, supervisory and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe performance of all aspects of passenger rolling stock maintenance and represent on equipment maintenance program issues.
• Carry out responsibilities following Company policies, contractual requirements and applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform all duties with proper safety and security standards to ensure dependable service.
• Interface with Herzog/TASI teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies on equipment maintenance.
• Oversee maintenance facilities, schedules, and reporting obligations to ensure timely operations.
