Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology with ARRT certification.
• CT training in addition to diagnostic radiologic technology.
• California Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography upon hire.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience.
• Minimum 1 year CT experience in Imaging Department.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and routine radiologic procedures for patients of all ages.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Work with medical staff as a department resource with minimal supervision.

Description

Senior Radiology Technologist in Radiology Unit at Petaluma Valley Hospital. This position is Full time and will work 10-hour Variable Shifts.

A certified professional who performs computerized axial tomography, as well as routine diagnostic and special radiologic procedures on patients of all age groups. Other duties may include multi-disciplinary committee/team participation, quality improvement activities, and collaboration with the medical staff. Works under minimal supervision and acts as a resource to others in the department.

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of Accredited school of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Coursework/Training: Training in C.T. in addition to Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography.
• 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital.
• 1 year of experience in Computerized Tomography in the Imaging Department.

Pay Range: $63.11 - $84.14
