UC San Diego's Radiology Department seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine to complex radiographic and fluoroscopic exams using fixed and portable equipment, following established protocols and radiologist guidance.

The role requires advanced knowledge of radiologic technology, strong attention to radiation safety, and the ability to prepare patients, enter data, review images, and collaborate with clinicians.

Qualifications

• Must have California CRT-R certification.
• Must obtain CRT-F within six months of hire (required for Sr. Rad Tech).
• Registered Technologist for Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) is required.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine to complex radiographic and fluoroscopic exams.
• Prepare and position patients to achieve high-quality images.
• Follow established protocols and radiologist instructions.
• Enter complex data into the computer system and verify image quality.
• Review, verify and evaluate radiographs for technical quality.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety and related policies.
• Communicate effectively with patients and health-care team; assist other technologists.
• Other duties as assigned.
