Job summary

Dignity Health - St. John's Hospital Camarillo seeks a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to produce diagnostic images for radiologists to interpret. Role spans X-ray, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI, with focus on accurate results and patient interaction.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as staff technologists, licensure in California upon hire, and ARRT certifications across modalities. Strong commitment to safety and patient care is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years experience as a staff technologist in radiology with at least one year in two specialty fields, or lead/instructor experience.
• CA radiography licensure required upon hire.
• Fluoroscopy radiology tech licensure required upon hire.
• CPR/BLS required upon hire.
• ARRT certification in Radiography or related specialty upon hire.
• Licensure/certification in additional modalities (Bone Densitometry, CT, Interventional Radiography, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Quality Management, Radiation Therapy, Vascular Interventional Radiology, Vascular Sonography) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Transfer and position patients.
• Independently perform all diagnostic imaging procedures per department standards and orders.
• Provide protection adhering to safety procedures.
• Send images to PACS and print images as needed.
• Interview patients for medical history and obtain consents.
• Maintain sterile technique and prevent cross-contamination.
