Dignity Health’s St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, CA, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI studies while ensuring a positive patient experience and accurate imaging.

You will participate in workflow optimization, patient positioning, and image quality control in a busy diagnostic department. The role requires ARRT radiography certification, CPR on hire, and proficiency across modalities; experience with MRI and CT preferred.

• Minimum 6 months experience as Radiologic Technologist.
• CPR certification required upon hire.

• MRI and CT registrations upon hire or equivalent.

Job Summary And ResponsibilitiesAs our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

• Transfers and positions patients.
• Independently performs all diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department standards and in keeping with the orders of the referring physician.
• Provides protection in accordance with prescribed safety procedures.
• Accepts responsibility for filming and developing examinations, including laser printing.
• Interviews patients for pertinent medical history and obtains consents on patients prior to performing studies as required.
• Performs role of charge tech as needed.
