Adventist Health Tehachapi Valley is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and deliver diagnostic imaging services in a modern hospital setting. You will position and prepare patients, adjust exposure parameters, and ensure safety throughout exams, collaborating with physicians and care teams.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT-R certification with CA/HI licensure requirements and BLS, plus a CA fluoroscopy license within 6 months of hire, in a dynamic rural-urban service area

Competenze

• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology preferred.
• ARRT-R certification required for radiography.
• Radiologic Tech license in CA and HI required.
• BLS certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license in CA within 6 months of hire.

Mansioni

• Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as ordered by physicians.
• Positions and instructs patients prior to examinations; adjusts exposure.
• Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation and explains procedures.
• Presents and documents exam information; verifies exams on PACS and reports to physician.
• Prepares equipment and rooms; ensures patient safety during exams.
