Job summary

Tufts Medicine Lowell General Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team. This role offers cross-training across Emergency Department, inpatient/outpatient imaging, OR, portable exams, and fluoroscopy, with a 5x8 schedule and rotating days including call and weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiology or related field is required.
• ARRT certification is required.
• State license eligibility is required.
• Four years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
• Basic Life Support Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform radiologic procedures on patients as assigned.
• Verify patient and procedure to be performed.
• Provide clear and accurate instructions to patients.
• Verify and perform correct imaging protocol, step, and scanner parameters.
• Ensure patient and staff safety for equipment used.
• Participate in ongoing education and training.
• Perform quality control on equipment and devices.
• Communicate with other staff/departments to coordinate care of patients.
• Maintain supply stock and request stock as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and compliant with standards.
• Train and educate students and/or technologists.
