Job summary

Christian North East at BJC HealthCare is seeking a Senior Radiation Therapist to perform patient treatments using ionizing radiation, under supervision of the Radiation Oncologist. The role requires operating TrueBeam linac, teaching students, and presenting current cases.

Minimum education includes an accredited therapy program with ARRT certification and RT(T) credential, plus 2+ years of experience in radiation therapy. Day shift, no call or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Certified Radiation Therapy program.
• Board Certified by the ARRT.
• RT(T) certification.
• Certified Radiation Therapist credential.
• 2 years or more experience in radiation therapy.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and chart prior to start of procedure.
• Delivers accurate and consistent treatments to patients.
• Completes treatment process and coordinates patient scheduling.
