Weeghman & Briggs is seeking a Senior Radar/Signal Processing Analyst to support government initiatives in Huntsville, AL. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and on-site work, with opportunities to contribute to mission-critical programs and cross-functional teams.

You will analyze requirements, translate them into actionable solutions, and ensure adherence to security standards while advancing technical methods in radar signal processing and emitter analysis.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 12+ years of relevant experience or 17 total years with a Master’s substitute.
• Experience supporting DoD/government programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience in TechELINT, OPELINT, radar waveforms, DSP, I/Q data, and emitter analysis.
• Proficient in Python or MATLAB; knowledge of antenna theory and radar modes.

Responsibilities

• Support mission-critical programs in secure government environments.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
• Ensure compliance with contract and security standards.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and performance.
• Determine signal structure and parameters, model RF-domain behavior, process I/Q and bit-level data, and analyze radar emissions, scan patterns, scheduling, power, antenna pattern, and polarization characteristics.

• What You’ll Do

• What You Bring
• Active minimum TS/SCI clearance
• Experience supporting government or DoD programs
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in TechELINT; OPELINT; radar waveforms; DSP; I/Q data; signal processing; emitter analysis
• Minimum of 12 years of experience with a Master's degree related to the labor category; or related bachelor's plus 5 additional years of related senior experience, for 17 total years, as substitute for master's.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting MSIC and DIA programs
• Agile, cloud, or modernization experience
• Background in process improvement or analytical services
• Strong knowledge in Python/MATLAB; demodulation; bitstream analysis; antenna theory; radar modes
