Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks a Radar Analyst to support verification, validation, and accreditation activities for Missile Defense System modeling and simulation.

You will apply deep radar expertise to ensure model accuracy, performance, and trust across critical defense portfolios. You will join a technical team within MDA/SEQV Systems Verification, shaping radar model fidelity and contributing to high-assurance evidence for national defense programs.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of radar, modeling, or system analysis experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher).
• Strong understanding of radar fundamentals and environmental effects.

Responsibilities

• Apply radar expertise to validate MDS modeling and simulation environments.
• Develop and execute sensitivity studies to evaluate radar performance characteristics.
• Build analytical tools and code (HWIL and Digital Model assessments) to evaluate models against requirements.
• Research technical model documentation and data to support VV&A evidence development.
• Collaborate with software developers, model producers, and accreditation agents to establish VV&A evidence.
• Contribute to a multiagency environment focused on improving model fidelity and mission readiness.
