Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Systems Engineering or related STEM field with 12+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 10+ years.
  • Significant experience with complex radar or RF sensor systems including design, RF, antennas, signal processing, or calibration.
  • Proven ability to diagnose complex radar-system performance problems using data, tests, and modeling.
  • Experience in requirements analysis, design, integration, verification, and transition to an operational environment.
  • Experience developing test plans, reviews, and acceptance criteria, with change-control processes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the program's lead radar engineering SME, providing technical leadership for RTR radar operations, sustainment, and modernization.
  • Analyze radar performance and mission data to identify issues and opportunities to improve capability and data quality.
  • Lead root-cause analysis of hardware, software, RF, timing, and system-interface problems and drive corrective actions to closure.
  • Ensure radar systems meet mission performance, calibration, and availability requirements and substantiate system readiness.
  • Lead or support radar Improvements & Modernization studies from requirements through deployment.
