Job summary

Barclays in New York, NY is seeking a Senior RAD Developer to design, develop and improve software across equity derivatives and related desks. You will work with enterprise stacks to deliver direct impact on P&L and retire legacy solutions while building next‑generation platforms.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers, apply TDD, write maintainable code, and adhere to secure coding practices.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in enterprise‑level development with compiled languages.
Proficient in TDD and writing unit tests for scalable systems.
Strong Python development experience and data handling skills.
Experience with SQL DDL/DML and maintaining large distributed systems.
Front‑end or desktop/web experience and solid documentation habits.
