Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure seeks a Rack Deployment Manager to lead readiness and execution of rack deployments in data center environments. You will coordinate with Site Deployment, Data Center Operations, Network, Capacity, Construction, Commissioning, and Security teams to ensure planned racks are installed, energized, validated, documented, and handed off to operations.

Qualifications

8+ years in data center infrastructure deployment or related field.
Experience coordinating cross-functional deployment in mission-critical environments.
Ability to manage complex schedules, deployment dependencies, risks, and escalations.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Operations, IT, or related field.
Strong understanding of data center operations, safety, documentation, and turnover expectations.

Responsibilities

Own rack deployment planning and execution across sites with safety and handoff readiness.
Translate capacity, network, supplier, and site readiness inputs into executable deployment schedules and milestones.
Coordinate rack placement, cabling readiness, power and cooling, and network readiness.
Drive readiness gates covering MEP status, prerequisites, materials, and change controls.
Identify risks early; escalate and drive cross‑functional recovery actions to protect deployment commitments.
Support energization and turnover activities with approvals, SOPs, and stakeholders.
Develop and reinforce repeatable deployment playbooks, checklists, and reporting mechanisms.
Track and report deployment KPIs including schedule adherence and throughput.
