The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. in a related field and 10–15+ years in fiber spinning or polymer processing, with hands-on pilot equipment experience.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 10–15+ years of progressive experience in fiber spinning or related process technologies.
• Experience scaling R&D innovations into cost-effective production processes.
• Willing to work hands-on with pilot equipment and collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead business-aligned projects that develop new spinning processes from lab to production.
• Serve as the technical SME in spinning solution technology and process capability.
• Drive time-to-market reductions and oversee capital projects, reliability initiatives, and safety programs.
• Collaborate with scientists, technicians, and operators to solve problems and translate innovations into production.
• Provide technical leadership for new product introduction and process scale-up initiatives.
• Travel up to 15%.
