Job summary

ST Engineering MRAS seeks a Lead R&D Manufacturing Engineer to drive development and manufacturing industrialization of new products and processes. You will translate designs into robust manufacturing methods and lead prototype builds, collaborating across engineering, operations, quality and supply chain.

Applicants should have hands-on manufacturing experience, CAD skills (NX/CATIA), and strong leadership abilities, with a focus on safety, quality, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace or related field.
• 5+ years in related manufacturing/engineering or 3+ years in composite manufacturing.
• Export-controlled tech requires U.S. Person status or authorized exception.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and industrialization of new products, manufacturing processes and production technologies.
• Translate designs into robust, repeatable manufacturing processes.
• Lead prototype development and pilot production builds.
• Develop manufacturing plans and process specifications.
• Identify and implement manufacturing solutions to improve safety, quality, cost and delivery.
