A leading AI infrastructure company in Denver is looking for a Senior Manager, R&D to lead the rapidly growing R&D organization. This hybrid role combines team building and program management, ensuring successful technology evaluations and project management from pilot to deployment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in a competitive market and be able to manage R&D programs effectively. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered, with compensation ranging from $132,000 to $165,000 plus bonus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct people management experience.
• 5+ years of technical program or project management experience.
• Sufficient technical background in data center infrastructure and power systems.
• Experience standing up new teams and functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and onboard R&D team members across functions.
• Translate organizational growth plan into hiring roadmap.
• Directly manage R&D programs during early growth phase.
• Establish and improve R&D operational processes.
• Support interface between R&D and engineering teams.
• Serve as operational partner to the head of R&D.
• Support relationship management with technology vendors.
