Job summary

SoftServe in New York is seeking a professional to develop advanced AI solutions, focusing on LLMs and Vision-Language Models. You will drive innovation through applied R&D initiatives, working in a research-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with model optimization and deployment frameworks such as ONNX. You will work closely with frameworks like LangChain and utilize Nvidia software products for advanced AI applications.

About The Role

In this role, you will contribute to the development of advanced AI solutions, working with LLMs, agentic systems, and Vision-Language Models alongside computer vision technologies. Operating in a research-oriented environment, you will focus on building and optimizing real-world AI use cases and driving innovation through applied R&D initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and build evaluation pipelines for LLM/SLM systems
• Optimize SLMs (including quantization)
• Develop use cases such as translation, function calling, data validation, and evaluation
• Deploy and optimize models for edge environments (e.g., ONNX)
• Work with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and MCP
• Explore Nvidia software products experience, i.e., NVIDIA Blueprints VSS, AI-Q; CuOpt Engine

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic workflows, and VLMs
• Solid understanding of model optimization, inference, and edge deployment
• Experience with ONNX or similar deployment frameworks
• Background in Computer Vision
• Basic knowledge in Cloud (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Working proficiency in English (upper-intermediate or higher) within a multicultural environment
