Job summary

You will design tools for construction (65%), design structural fasteners (25%), and provide technical support for manufacturing and quality control (10%). You will use CAD, FEA, 3D printing, prototyping, and testing; collaborate with vendors, manufacturing, and product management;

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years designing mechanical fastening systems, anchors, connectors, tools, or related construction products.
• Holder of one or more patents related to tool design.

Responsibilities

• Design tools for the construction industry—primarily for the delivery of fasteners.
• Design structural fasteners for the construction industry.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing and quality control.
