Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico seeks an expert in experimental electrostatics and electrical breakdown to join a multidisciplinary team. You will lead research, design testing, and advise sponsors on critical technologies affecting safety and performance in extreme environments.

The role emphasizes developing capabilities, publishing results, and collaborating across sponsors and staff in a high‑stakes research setting. Onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and five (5) years of directly relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of directly relevant education and engineering or scientific experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance
