Position Reporting To

R&D Manager

Role and Responsibilities

1. Contribute to successful project results in the Premier Products R&D team, supporting brands like Ty-Duct, Ty-Rap, Sta-Kon, and Color-Keyed.
2. Support new product design and development from ideation to market launch, including design, testing, validation, and introduction.
3. Identify, propose, and implement innovative solutions.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic product development projects.
5. Serve as SME in product design, including mechanical, electromechanical, and manufacturability aspects.
6. Perform detailed part design and dimensional tolerance analysis.
7. Prepare engineering documentation such as drawings, BOM, and specifications.
8. Provide project updates and facilitate design review presentations to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 7 years of experience in new product design.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Proficiency in CAD software (preferably ProE/Creo) and Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
• Legal work authorization in the United States.
