Job summary

Element Solutions Inc. MAES team is seeking a PhD-level materials researcher to drive development of high-performance surface treatments for circuit boards and interconnects.

You will design formulations, tests, and optimization strategies, working with scientists and managers globally to advance product roadmaps. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• PhD required in a relevant field with 3+ years of research experience.
• Experience in wet chemistry labs and safe chemical handling.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop new surface treatment products for PCB, molded interconnects, connectors and IC substrates.
• Review patent literature to inform resin systems and polymers.
• Draft presentations and reports; publish findings as appropriate.
• Collaborate with global scientists, product managers, and marketing to execute roadmaps.
