Job summary

Quantinuum is seeking a Senior Customer-Facing Technical Leader in the United States to shape and deliver quantum computing solutions for strategic pharma and life sciences customers. The role can be Principal or Director level, depending on experience and leadership scope.

You will leverage expertise in computational R&D approaches for pharma, including analytics, omics, chemistry, and drug design, guiding project scopes and maintaining industry use cases.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computational life sciences, physics, computer science, or related field.
• 10+ years working in industrial research programs in pharmaceutical and life-sciences sector.
• Director level: experience leading technical teams or managing direct reports in customer-facing or applied research environments.
• Due to contractual requirements, must be a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder).
• National security: candidate must not be a PRC or Russian national unless also a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical leader for assigned strategic accounts, collaborating with sales on planning, discovery, and solution development.
• Identify high-value quantum computing applications within pharma and life sciences R&D workflows.
• Maintain a catalogue of use cases and support development of customer-facing materials.
• Define project scopes with customers in collaboration with internal teams and align with technical roadmap and near-term quantum prospects.
• Provide market feedback to internal research leaders to align roadmaps with industry needs.
• Stay current on advances in quantum tech and industry trends; develop deep expertise in quantum algorithms and use cases.
• Director level: lead and develop the Solutions Architecture team, coaching and resource management.
• Director level: oversee portfolio visibility and prioritization across the Solutions Architecture function.
