Job summary

D-Wave Quantum Inc. seeks a Senior Solution Architect to build and deliver quantum optimization solutions for customer applications. You will collaborate with delivery leads, applications developers, and other solutions architects within professional services, mapping business problems to D-Wave’s hybrid solvers and testing prototypes.

The role is hybrid with two on-site days weekly in Boca Raton. You will review customer problems, formulate solutions, and develop production-ready applications,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Python experience; knowledge of NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, NetworkX is a bonus.
• Familiar with leading optimization tools (Gurobi/CPLEX) and heuristic methods.
• Experience working with external customers in a consulting-like role to gather requirements and propose solutions.
• Strong mathematical modeling and optimization expertise with practical problem-solving focus.
• Production-focused experience building customer-facing applications and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build customer applications on the D-Wave quantum computer and internal tools.
• Ensure successful delivery of projects to achieve business value for customers.
• Communicate capabilities with customers and understand problems to propose solutions.
• Gather requirements, model use cases, and design quantum hybrid applications.
• Build and maintain relationships with leaders across D-Wave groups.
• Share customer insights with tools/product teams and help prioritize features.
• Organize, prepare, and present technical information clearly.
• Participate in creating an inclusive, collaborative environment.
