Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in engineering with extensive rack-level hardware experience.
• 10+ years designing, integrating, and deploying high-density electro-mechanical, optoelectronic, or telecom racks.
• Experience with 3D CAD for rack layouts (EIA-310), enclosures, and cable routing.
• Experience with AC/DC power distribution, thermal management, and environmental interlocks.
• Experience managing a team of engineers.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical authority for delivering integrated, rack-mounted quantum systems.
• Unify outputs into a manufacturable, serviceable rack architecture.
• Bridge research and program management, ensuring precise assembly and test activities.
• Architect scalable, manufacturable rack solutions integrating subsystems.
• Lead design, integration, and deployment of rack-level quantum systems for data centers and labs.
• Ensure compliance with UL, CE, and IEC standards.
• Optimize layouts for performance, reliability, serviceability, and cable management.
• Collaborate to transition lab tech into deployable hardware platforms.
• Partner with PM to ensure proper assembly, testing, and site acceptance.
• Improve assembly and test processes to enable scaling.
• Maintain accurate lab records and experimental results.
