Senior Quantitative Developer

Millennium is a top tier global hedge fund with a strong commitment to leveraging innovations in technology and data science to solve complex problems for the business. We are assembling a strong Quant Technology team to build our next generation trading strategy.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented person to join our team. The candidate will play a significant part in enhancing and maintaining our current systematic investment framework, including:

1. Data Engineering: building and maintaining data pipelines
2. Machine Learning: building and enhancing machine learning framework

Requirements:

1. STEM background
2. High Level (production level) Coding experience in Python and SQL
3. Familiar with version control (GitHub)
4. Experience in cloud development (AWS EC2, Batch, S3, and CloudWatch)
5. Experience with schedulers (Airflow)
6. Unix experience
7. Best practices methodology regarding how to code, test, and deploy changes.
8. Experience in quantitative development
9. Experience with data-pipeline architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelors, Masters or PhD in STEM
2. Experience in Asset Management preferably in Equities
3. Knowledge of equities

Compensation:

The estimated base salary range for this position is $150,000 – $200,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
