Job summary

Objective Partners in New York seeks a Quant Researcher to architect and lead its alpha discovery engine. You will mentor a growing team, design and backtest high-sharpe signals, and co-create an autonomous trading AI platform that continually improves itself.

Ideal candidates have a proven hedge fund or high-frequency trading background, fluent Python/C++, and deep expertise in statistics and ML. Equity participation and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in systematic alpha research in hedge funds or related trading environments.
• Strong Python/C++ programming for large-scale data analysis and modeling.
• Deep knowledge of statistics, ML, and financial econometrics.

Responsibilities

• Systemic mentorship: translate quantitative intuition into automated research workflows.
• Alpha generation: design, backtest and deploy predictive signals across assets to drive P&L.
• Infrastructure optimization: collaborate to refine the Alpha Factory for autonomous ideas.
• Feedback integration: analyze performance and improve AI for fewer false signals.
• Strategic leadership: advise on market microstructure and long-term research roadmap.
