Job summary

Hexagon Agility in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Senior Quality Technician to inspect products and monitor manufacturing processes. You will work with Quality and Operations to ensure on-time, quality shipments and support the Quality Manager.

The role requires interpreting drawings, GD&T, and performing inspections, audits, and calibration tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in quality control, ASQ certifications preferred, and experience with ISO 9001 and lean tools.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline is desired.
• ASQ CQT certification preferred; other ASQ certifications are desired.
• ISO 9001 auditor training is preferred.
• Mechanical/GD&T interpretation and GD&T experience required.
• 3+ years in Quality Control/QA in manufacturing
• Experience with ISO 9001, SPC, gage R&R, and basic quality tools preferred.
• Experience with destructive and nondestructive testing (NDT) preferred.
• Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) preferred.
• Training as an ISO 9001 auditor is preferred.
• Proficiency with SPC, gage R&R, check sheets, flow charts, control charts, histograms.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product and monitor the manufacturing process to standards.
• Coordinate QC activities and provide production coverage.
• Represent the Quality Team in daily production meetings.
• Lead training for Quality Technicians and Inspectors.
• Identify nonconforming material and implement containment.
• Perform internal Quality Management System audits.
• Maintain gage checking and calibration systems.
• Review FRRs and PD, LMS, ST for manufacturing engineering.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
