Job summary

Hubbell is seeking a Senior Quality Technician to support additive manufacturing operations in Wilmington, MA. You will lead inspections, metrology, calibration, testing, and quality documentation for metal and polymer components.

You will mentor junior staff, drive root cause investigations, and collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure product compliance and timely production releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Metrology, Inspection, or a related manufacturing quality role.
• Experience in a precision manufacturing environment; additive manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead dimensional, visual, and functional inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished components.
• Verify product conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T requirements, and customer standards.
• Develop, validate, and maintain inspection programs, measurement methods, and detailed quality records.
• Support FAIs, process validations, and production release activities.
• Analyze inspection data using SPC and Gage R&R to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Lead non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Manage calibration activities to ensure all inspection equipment remains compliant and accurate.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to develop inspection plans and quality control strategies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to inspectors and junior quality technicians.
