Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer to lead the Quality Management System (QMS) updates, author quality standards, and coach the internal auditing team. You will drive continuous improvement across the organization and support regulatory compliance with a strong focus on quality excellence.

You will collaborate with multiple departments to implement robust processes, oversee audits, and ensure sustained QMS effectiveness while enabling strategic quality objectives for Rivian’s operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field with quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ISO 9001/IATF 16949 standards.
• Coach and develop the internal auditing team and ensure timely closure of non-conformances.
• Lead creation, revision, and implementation of quality standards, procedures, and work instructions.
• Manage document control and ensure controlled documentation is current and accurate.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement projects related to quality processes and KPIs.
