Job Description:

Your Responsibilities

  1. Develops and implements quality assurance strategies and plans to enhance production quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  2. Establishes standards and specifications for manufacturing/assembly processes.
  3. Provides internal reporting on quality assurance activities, progress, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
  4. Utilizes data-driven insights to drive/contribute decision-making and implement necessary process improvements.
  5. Manages and mentors the quality professionals under their responsibility.
  6. Conducts training programs and workshops to promote quality awareness to develop the skills of manufacturing personnel.

Customer Focus

  1. Collaborates with manufacturing teams to address customer-specific quality requirements.
  2. Assists in analyzing customer feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
  3. Participates in cross-functional projects aimed at improving product quality through manufacturing/assembly process improvements.

Quality Management System

  1. Participates in development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to mitigate process risks.
  2. Conducts process audits and inspections to verify compliance with process risk mitigation measures.
  3. Provides training and guidance to manufacturing personnel on process risk management practices and protocols.

Manufacturing Quality Assurance

  1. Conducts comprehensive risk assessments for manufacturing/assembly processes to identify potential risks by performing activities like failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA).
  2. Develops and implements risk mitigation strategies to minimize process-related risks.
  3. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of risk mitigation measures.
  4. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of risk mitigation actions.
  5. Analyzes process risk data and metrics to provide insights for process improvement initiatives.
  6. Establishes efficient change management processes for product features, processes, suppliers, materials, or design modifications.
  7. Ensures continuous review and updating of process and product/system risks through analysis of internal and external non-conformities, change requests, and process enhancements.
  8. Ensures comprehensive updates to the PFMEA, encompassing all identified risks across the product/process lifecycle while adhering to established rules for minimizing and tracking RPN values.

Quality Control

  1. Implements quality control measures and procedures to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  2. Conducts inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to verify compliance with quality requirements.
  3. Analyzes and interprets quality data, including measurements, test results, and statistical analysis, to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  4. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of quality control measures and makes recommendations for process improvements.

Process Performance

  1. Analyzes process performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  2. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions for enhanced process performance.
  3. Participates in process improvement initiatives, such as Lean Six Sigma projects.
  4. Maintains process performance documentation and supports implementation of statistical process control techniques.
  5. Provides training and guidance on process performance monitoring and improvement to manufacturing personnel.

Non-Conformance Management

  1. Conducts root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to identify and resolve quality issues in manufacturing and assembly processes.
  2. Utilizes techniques such as 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, and statistical analysis to determine the underlying causes of quality problems.
