Job summary

Quinn is seeking a Senior Quality Scientist to elevate quality across the production process, from ingredients to finished goods. You will own key quality systems, partner with manufacturers and internal teams, and address issues before they arise, ensuring safety, consistency, and great-tasting products.

The role requires strong GMP/HACCP knowledge, experience with regulatory requirements, and a proactive, collaborative mindset in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Food Science/Engineering/Nutrition or related field.
• 5+ years in Quality or R&D with food safety and quality assurance knowledge.
• Strong understanding of GMPs, HACCP and preventive controls.
• Solid knowledge of food labeling regulations.
• Experience building external relationships with contract manufacturers.
• Experience across product formulations and commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve food safety and quality management systems for products.
• Ensure consistent product quality across production runs and resolve issues quickly.
• Review and improve GMP, HACCP and SOP documentation; support annual QA audits.
• Lead root-cause analysis and CAPA activities.
• Establish sampling, testing, and inspection procedures for non-conforming products.
• Provide sensory evaluation data and recommendations for product release.
• Analyze quality data and trends to drive preventive actions and improvements.
• Conduct product quality and stability studies with sensory evaluations.
• Provide onsite production support to ensure quality compliance.
• Manage consumer feedback data and internal monthly reports.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain on raw material specs and supplier qualifications.
