Job summary

NASA AFRC at Edwards, CA seeks a QC/SH&E Manager to oversee the contractor's Quality Management System and safety programs. This leadership role reports to the COR and ensures compliance with ISO 9001, OSHA, and environmental regulations across all facility operations.

The successful candidate will develop audits, manage AHAs, LOTO procedures, incident reporting, and training programs for all contractor personnel, fostering a safe, compliant work environment at NASA AFRC.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and auditing quality and safety programs in a complex facility environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, OSHA, and hazard communication standards.
• Ability to develop training and certification programs for contractor personnel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a QMS in line with ISO 9001 and NASA policies.
• Lead safety, health, and environmental programs per OSHA and AFRC requirements.
• Oversee accident reporting, incident management, and compliance reporting.
• Manage hazardous materials compliance and training programs.
