Job summary

Anchor Ingredients is seeking a Senior Quality and Regulatory Manager to lead food safety, quality, and regulatory programs at our Fargo facility. You will drive FSQMS initiatives, partner with Operations, and ensure readiness for inspections and audits.

The role requires 5+ years in food safety/quality/regulatory, HACCP/PCQI training, and strong cross-functional leadership. This position offers a path to strengthen Anchor’s quality culture and compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; related experience considered.
• 5+ years in food safety, quality or regulatory roles.
• Previous people leadership preferred.
• GFSI FSQMS experience; SQF preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 117 and USDA requirements.
• Strong HACCP, FSMA, GMP and environmental monitoring knowledge.
• HACCP and PCQI training required or obtainable.
• Experience supporting regulatory inspections and audits.
• Knowledge of microbiological testing and lab practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to use data and risk-based thinking to drive improvement.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/QMS systems.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation and improvement of FSQMS.
• Ensure regulatory programs across Anchor facilities are effective.
• Maintain readiness for inspections, audits, and certifications.
• Monitor regulatory, safety and customer requirements for foods and ingredients.
• Serve as primary contact for suppliers, customers, auditors and regulators.
• Oversee product specs, documentation and certifications.
• Manage change control and risk assessments for new ingredients and processes.
• Provide hands-on leadership in manufacturing sites.
• Conduct internal audits and drive corrective actions.
• Partner with Operations on process improvements and new products.
• Coach and mentor the Quality team.
