Job summary

Abbott in Columbus, OH is seeking a senior Quality Program Manager to lead the Packaging Supplier Quality Events program. This role will drive supplier events, CAPA, and supplier governance while developing a high-performing team across sites and suppliers.

You will champion data-driven improvements, oversee risk assessments and root-cause investigations, and ensure audit readiness in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Food Science, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Quality, or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, or Packaging Engineering, or related in Manufacturing, Operations, or related technical fields.
• Experience with supplier audits, supplier assessments, and supplier quality system evaluations.
• Experience building and managing scorecards, KPIs, dashboards, and supplier governance processes.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience presenting and aligning internal and external stakeholders with the ability to communicate to all levels of the Abbott organization as well as supplier organization.
• Green Belt, Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Supplier Quality professionals responsible for Supplier Events and Supplier Excellence activities.
• Drive investigations, risk assessments, root cause analysis, and CAPA for supplier quality events.
• Partner with manufacturing sites and suppliers to resolve quality issues and protect product quality.
• Monitor supplier performance through scorecards, KPIs, assessments, audits, and governance reviews.
• Maintain audit readiness and ensure compliance with quality system requirements and regulatory expectations.
