Job summary

DRiV Incorporated in Virginia is seeking a quality-focused professional to ensure compliance with IATF16949 and lead the evolution of our quality systems. The role focuses on quality assurance, implementing PFMEA, control plans, and PPAP while driving continuous improvement across the plant.

You will manage internal audits, coordinate root-cause investigations, and train teams on new quality plans, methods, and data collection practices to support on-time, defect-free production.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or similar; QA experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Industrial or automotive experience (Tier 1 or OEM).
• Understanding of quality processes such as APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and PPAP.
• Process improvement to reduce scrap and defects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct IATF 16949 internal audits and develop action items.
• Lead and facilitate 8D problem solving teams using root cause analysis.
• Train personnel on new quality plans and work instructions as well as statistical and problem-solving techniques.
• Maintain knowledge of inspection tools and gauges including gauge calibration and Gauge R&R.
• Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation; PPAP processes.
