Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking a Quality Manager III to lead the organization’s total quality function in manufacturing and offices. You will drive internal, supplier, and customer quality processes, mentoring teams toward zero defects and world-class processes aligned with ZEBS, Lean Six Sigma, and Quality Management principles.

The role places you on the Site Leadership Team with responsibilities spanning quality system development, audits, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• BS in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required.
• 6+ years of proven experience implementing and/or improving quality systems.
• 2+ years of supplier quality experience; International experience a plus.
• Experience leading a ISO 9001, QS9000, AS9100 or ISO/TS 16949 based QMS in a high-mix, assembly operation.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma experience; Green or Black Belt certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the quality system and regulatory compliance.
• Implement company-wide procedures to support quality system requirements and world class execution.
• Drive continuous improvement and establish objectives for world class customer satisfaction using lean, six sigma, and ZEBS.
• Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
• Grow supplier quality system for domestic and international vendors.
• Conduct quality systems audits at supplier sites.
• Improve quality performance with coaching across Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Service, and Sales.
• Reduce DPPM and COPQ.
• Lead Six Sigma and Lean projects to drive improvements.
• Analyze processes and develop data-driven improvements linking Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering and Customer Service worldwide.
