Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Kansas City is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality assurance programs across projects, ensuring compliance with contract documents and company policy. You will plan, implement and supervise QA activities in support of JE Dunn's strategy and values.

You will create project quality plans, coordinate with field and office staff, review submittals, and guide training programs. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to mentor others

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management or related field preferred.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 8+ years construction quality-related experience.
• 0-2 years mentoring or team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Create Project Specific Quality Plans, assign accountability to the appropriate individuals for each task and ensure the Plan is regularly updated.
• Ensure the Project Quality Status Report is completed prior to the Monthly Project Review Meeting.
• Participate in creating National Initiatives such as Quality Assurance Manual Updates, Quality Broadcasts, Quality University, etc.
• Ensure Major Quality Issues are listed and up-to-date on the Project Quality Status Report.
• Provide coordination and oversight to the project specific quality plan and mentor team members.
