Job summary

Interplastic Corporation in South Bend, IN is seeking a Quality Manager to lead QA/QC functions and drive continuous improvement in a chemical manufacturing environment.

You will develop and maintain quality systems, analyze data, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory and customer standards are met, while mentoring teams toward excellence. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or Quality and 5–10+ years of relevant experience, onsite with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field required.
• 5–10+ years in quality, manufacturing, or related roles.
• Experience in chemical/industrial manufacturing preferred.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA and QC functions
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, policies, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer standards, and internal specifications
• Analyze quality data and drive improvements to reduce defects and variability
• Lead root cause analysis and CAPA initiatives
• Partner with Production, Engineering, and Technical teams to resolve quality issues
• Oversee audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections
• Establish and monitor quality metrics and KPIs
