Job summary

Relyans is seeking a Manager, Manufacturing Quality, who will lead efforts to reduce quality defects and improve process performance. The incumbent will manage scrap KPIs and conduct audits to support operational discipline and long-term development.

This role requires direct management of a quality team and collaboration with manufacturing leaders to align goals. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or quality and at least five years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years quality experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a fastener manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated capability in 8D, PFMEA, and control plan methodology.
• Must be self-motivated and able to perform effectively in a remote/hybrid role.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily defect reduction efforts across various manufacturing processes.
• Manage and track scrap-related KPIs at multiple levels.
• Facilitate Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) reviews.
• Collaborate with manufacturing leaders to align performance goals.
