The Quality Manager position at nLIGHT-DEFENSE Systems, Inc. is based in Longmont, CO and focuses on sustaining activities after a product moves from development.

The role requires leading a team of engineers and technicians, managing PFMEAs, control plans, and documentation, and driving corrective actions with customer interaction. Preference is given to candidates with experience in aerospace or defense and a DoD security clearance; strong cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving are

Competenze

• 8+ years of experience leading a Quality group in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in aerospace and/or defense preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field; equivalent experience considered.

Mansioni

• Maintain product quality documentation and support risk management.
• Prepare FAIRs and support customer audits and quality reviews.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure conformance.
• Coordinate with suppliers, Supply Chain, and Engineering to resolve quality concerns.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate quality inspectors and technicians.
