Job summary

nLIGHT-DEFENSE Systems, Inc. in Longmont, CO is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee the Quality team for new product introductions and ongoing production. The role leads engineers and technicians in a hands-on management capacity onsite.

Requirements include 8+ years of leading a quality group in manufacturing, and a Bachelor's degree in a technical field. DoD clearance is preferred and initial access may be required for the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience leading a Quality group in production/manufacturing.
• Experience in aerospace/defense preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain product quality documentation supporting new product introductions and ongoing production.
• Support DFMEA, PFMEA, and risk assessment activities.
• Oversee incoming inspection activities to ensure materials meet quality and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations to resolve quality issues.
• Oversee in-process and final inspections and ensure product conformity to specs.
