Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Quality leader in the United States to drive product lifecycle quality within the Supply Chain - Product Quality team. You will oversee process quality, CAPA, and governance across global deployments, ensuring ISO 9001 and CMMI alignment while partnering with stakeholders and leadership.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years in quality or systems integration, Six Sigma belt certification, and strong data analytics skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience in quality management or systems integration.
• Strong background in quantitative analysis and data science with ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex technical documents.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt, ASQ Certified Manager of Quality (CMQ), or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor preferred.
• Proficiency in data management methods and statistical analysis tools.
• Demonstrated ability to define strategic roadmaps, drive organizational change, and present complex technical strategies to leadership.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or CMMI standards; telecommunications industry experience is a plus.

• Process Quality: Enforce field deployment processes and verify process capability.
• Lifecycle Performance: Ensure downstream impact from system deployments is translated into product and process improvements.
• Compliance & Governance: Manage internal audit programs to ensure adherence to QMS, ISO 9001, and regulatory requirements.
• Issue Resolution: Lead root cause analysis and implement CAPA for quality issues in deployments.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive operational excellence using data analysis and quality tools to reduce waste and improve deployment capabilities.

Supply Chain - Product Quality

Scope of Role

• Strategy: Define and execute a multi-year strategy across the entire product lifecycle, from design gate to aftermarket service.
• Operations: Drive systemic improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product reliability, manufacturing yield, and operational efficiency across the global enterprise.
• Collaboration: Partner with Systems Integration project stakeholders, international deployment teams, and business leadership to ensure quality metrics are aligned with and support business needs.

Core Responsibilities

• Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of operational excellence using data analysis and quality tools to eliminate waste and improve system deployment capabilities.

Basic Requirements

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience in quality management or systems integration.
• Technical Expertise: Strong background in quantitative analysis and data science with the ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex technical documents.
• Certifications: Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt, ASQ Certified Manager of Quality (CMQ), or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor preferred.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data management methods and statistical analysis tools to support data-driven decision-making.
• Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated ability to define strategic roadmaps, drive organizational change, and present complex technical strategies to leadership.
• Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or CMMI standards; prior experience in the telecommunications industry is a significant plus.
