Job summary

Balchem Corp. in Montvale, New Jersey, seeks a Sr Quality Specialist for Global Contract Manufacturing to govern quality and product safety across its external manufacturing network.

You will ensure compliance with the Balchem Quality Management System and regulatory requirements while supporting growth through co-manufacturing. You will lead qualification and onboarding of co-manufacturers, drive KPI reporting, and manage audits, change controls, and CAPAs in collaboration with R&D, Operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, Food Law, or related field.
• Coursework or certifications in U.S. food regulations, Codex Alimentarius, foreign food regulations, PCQI, and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the comanufacturing Quality Management program at Balchem.
• Audit co-manufacturers; manage qualification and onboarding processes.
• Develop KPI for co-manufacturer quality performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage change control for quality- and product safety-related issues.
• Identify root causes and implement CAPAs with co-manufacturers.
• Collaborate with Procurement, R&D, and project teams on product innovation.
• Support management reviews with data-driven recommendations.
