Job summary

Acadian Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector on the East Coast with a strong focus on maintaining quality standards.

The role requires reading AFC drawings, verifying dimensional accuracy and ensuring compliance with customer specifications across piping, vessel and structural fabrication. The candidate should have a High School diploma or equivalent and a current CWI certification, with at least 5 years in related fabrication environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years minimum experience in piping, vessel and/or structural fabrication.
• Current CWI Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-job/kick-off meetings as assigned by Quality Manager.
• Issue AFC Drawings including revisions to shop personnel from Quality Manager or designated personnel.
• Read and interpret AFC prints issued to shop including structural, piping and vessel drawings.
• Review, understand and implement job specific requirements & specifications for all jobs.
• Verify material on fabricated items are correct as per drawing requirements.
• Sign off on Traveler/ITP Inspection.
• 100% dimensional/visual check of overall product prior to finished product leaving the shop.
