Job summary

Teledyne Microwave Solutions in Rancho Cordova, CA seeks a Battery of Quality Inspectors to protect performance of mission‑critical technologies. You will inspect materials, builds, and finished products, interpret drawings, document findings, and report nonconformities to maintain high reliability for defense platforms.

Qualified candidates have 10+ years in quality inspection, reading drawings, and using calipers/micrometers/gauges, with a technical associate degree or certificate.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications (required).
• Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and gauges (required).
• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical inspection methods (required).
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills (required).
• Vocational certificate or Associate degree in a technical field (required).
• 10+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing (required).
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or high‑reliability manufacturing (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process builds, and finished products for compliance with specifications.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and visual inspections using precision measurement tools.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection plans.
• Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials or processes.
• Prepare inspection, rejection, and first article reports.
• Communicate inspection results and recommend corrective actions.
• Support quality audits and supplier inspections.
• Enter inspection and test data into quality systems.
• Apply acceptance or rejection identification as required.
• Help reduce rework, downtime, and quality escapes.
